PREVOST is currently seeking an aggressive sales professional with a positive sales record to represent their designated sales region. The individual will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing distributors as well as identifying and developing new accounts. Qualified candidates must have 5-7 years of proven success in industrial sales and/or related industrial sales markets.


Job Description :

  • Plan and organize the sales region activities to achieve or exceed sales objectives in accordance with the company’s global sales plan.

  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with customers at all levels.

  • Grow the territory sales by establishing new sales opportunities with existing and new customers.

  • Manage a multi-state territory, traveling 50-70% and operating out of a “home office.”

  • Communicate and coordinate customer-related activities with other field salesman and office personnel.

  • Provide product training to distributors.

  • Distribute and follow up on all sales leads.

  • Make joint sales calls on customers and with distributor salesmen.

  • Manage all aspects of new business development with assigned national accounts including: negotiating annual contracts, increasing product range, planning and coordinating cooperative promotions, providing product training, participating in vendor trade shows, establishing and coordinating cooperative marketing ventures, communicating and coordinating action items with other field salesmen and internal support personnel.

  • Participate in national and regional tradeshows, vendor trade shows, sales conferences and sales meetings.

  • Complete required reporting functions including: sales call reports, expense reports, monthly sales reports, contact management reports, annual sales budgets, etc, in a thorough and timely manner.

Qualifications :

  • 4 year technical or business degree preferred.5-7 years of experience in industrial sales or industrial related sales.

  • Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding company’s sales goals.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and contact management system (CRM).

  • Able to work independently, operate form a home office and travel 50-70%.

  • Experience or knowledge of compressed air systems is a strong plus.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record is required.
